tar.

there is no tar in cannabis. there’s probably tar in the resin from cannabis, but there is not tar in it itself. when you smoke it, you make it reach a temperature that creates resin (tar), but this, in the picture? =/= tar. the decomposition of it through fire creates resin, but isn’t as harmful as with tobacco. smoke inhalation, as i said, is an irritant of the longs. but the inhalation of tobacco smoke and cannabis smoke are different. you can get tar from smoking wood. it’s the same process of material destruction only the plant consists of different chemicals that combust differently under the heat involved with smoking.
then again, i’ve never heard of a chainsmoker of just weed dying of cancer in any form. just tobacco.
blah.

That’s because they still get lung cancer. It’s not the tobacco, it’s the smoke. You’ll get lung cancer from any kind of smoke, doesn’t matter what it is. Also, you still get tar if it’s rolled up as a joint, so, your argument is slightly invalid.

you just said what i just said. the inhalation of smoke from something burning is going to be harmful regardless of the proponents involved. you get tar from resin. from the residue created when you burn it. my argument is that smoke is smoke and tar is tar from anything burning so long as it’s burned enough to get charred for that latter part. you’re saying the same thing i’m saying. cannabis, in itself, does not contain tar.
